EVENT #2 – open from WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26th, 2025 to SATURDAY, MARCH 29th

MINECRAFT BUILD COMPETITION

(This event is remote, and is primarily spearheaded through our Discord server)

Welcome to our second event! This time we’re kicking over to an activity located on the internet superhighway.

 

Players from all degrees are invited to assemble an original, mighty creation. Players have four days with which they can summon all of their ingenuity (and creative mode resources) to conjure up a rare work! To join in,  you’ll need a Discord account to access our community, and a copy of Minecraft.

Entries are to be submitted by 11:59pm – Saturday, 29th of March, where a winner shall be decided by a special guest, you know him as the Game Dev course coordinator, Jeremy Cameron! We have, for the winners, a $20 Steam voucher, or (or an alternative game storefront of your choice), and a credit for a secret item later in the year.

 

Purchasing this ticket entails you to a Discord role with access to participate in the competition and related forum discussion, and access to the game server itself.

The entry fee helps to support our costs to host the Minecraft server, where it will remain available post-competition as an ongoing club activity, and once your entry has been confirmed alongside your Discord ID, you’ll be given a role that enables access to participate.

 

This also serves as the kickoff with which to test our new Club Minecraft Server, with some magic tricks in play…

You can join the server on both PC/Java & Bedrock/Pocket Edition/Console*, with full cross-platform multiplayer!
